Riverland Country Club

Riverland County Club was started by Jim Johnson in the early 1990s. It has been a staple in the Heber Springs Community since then. In late 2022, GrayWalt Companies purchased the course from the Johnson family. Today they have a goal to bring a great product to citizens living in or traveling through the Natural State. Riverland County Club prides itself in being a great place for the working man to come play, relax, and meet.

Riverland Country Club Golf Course Guidelines

  • All players must inform the Pro Shop before starting play.

  • Golf tee times may be made up to seven days in advance of play. On golf outing days, call the Pro Shop to check available tee times.

  • Payment for golf carts must be made or arranged prior to play. Golf carts or rental pull carts must be obtained at the Pro Shop.

  • Each group of players or player shall obtain a score card and keep a record of strokes required for each hole according to the USGA rules. A copy of the rules and scoring requirements may be obtained from the Pro Shop.

  • Personal coolers (ice chests) are not allowed on the course. Please support your club by purchasing beverages and food from the Pro Shop.

  • Each player must have a golf bag and set of clubs. Guests may share clubs.

  • All play must start on number 1 tee at all times and on all days unless permission to do otherwise is obtained from the Pro Shop.

  • Groups of five may play if cleared by the Pro Shop.

  • Groups of five will not be allowed when course is heavily occupied.

  • All groups are strongly encouraged to maintain their starting interval with the group ahead.

  • When arriving at the green, carts (driven, powered, pushed or pulled) are to be parked between the green and next tee on the cart path. This will allow the following players to play to the green as soon as you complete play at the hole and are off the green.

  • Repair ball marks on the marks on the greens.

  • Use rakes prior to leaving bunkers. Leave rakes outside bunkers when done.

  • Proper attire is required at all times for all golfers on the golf course. No swim wear or cutoffs are allowed. Collared shirts are not required and shorts are able to be worn. This is the working man’s golf course.

  • USGA rules are in effect when local rules override.

  • Golfers must observe the 90 degree rule on holes where the signs are displayed.

  • Do not litter on the course. If you see trash on the course, please pick it up.

  • Have fun and invite your friends to be members at Riverland Country Club.
